The Coaching Disclaimer and Terms and Conditions outlined below define the relationship between Filip Van Houte (hereafter named ‘Fil) and Client and underpin any Mentorship services delivered by Fil.
This is the entire agreement of the parties and reflects a complete understanding of the parties with respect to the subject matter. This agreement supersedes all prior written and oral representations.
Please make sure you read the following carefully.
The date that the first coaching session takes place shall be deemed to be the start date for the service. Where any client is unhappy with any of the terms and conditions, they can contact Fil to discuss any concerns and see if they can be resolved before the first coaching session.
Participation by any individual in the first coaching session constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
1. COACHING DISCLAIMER
Fil will seek to enable the client to improve their quality of life or level of business success and to achieve their desired outcomes. Remarkable results can be achieved where clients follow a clear plan in a committed way. However, the client has sole responsibility for taking important decisions in their life or business.
Fil has no liability for any loss incurred by any client, whether financial or otherwise, following commencement of coaching sessions, or for any perceived failure by the client, whether justified or otherwise, to achieve a material improvement in quality of life or business or to achieve their desired outcomes or goals.
A. Client is solely responsible for creating and implementing his/her own physical, mental and emotional well-being, decisions, choices, actions and results arising out of or resulting from the coaching relationship and his/her coaching calls and interactions with the Coach. As such, the Client agrees that the Coach is not and will not be liable or responsible for any actions or inaction, or for any direct or indirect result of any services provided by the Coach. Client understands coaching is not therapy and does not substitute for therapy if needed, and does not prevent, cure, or treat any mental disorder or medical disease.
B. Client acknowledges that coaching is a comprehensive process that may involve different areas of his or her life, including work, finances, health, relationships, education and recreation. The Client agrees that deciding how to handle these issues, incorporate coaching principles into those areas and implementing choices is exclusively the client’s responsibility.
C. Client acknowledges that coaching does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders as defined by the American Psychiatric Association and that coaching is not to be used as a substitute for counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care, substance abuse treatment, or other professional advice by legal, medical or other qualified professionals and that it is the client’s exclusive responsibility
to seek such independent professional guidance as needed. If Client is currently under the care of a mental health professional, it is recommended that the Client promptly inform the mental health care provider of the nature and extent of the coaching relationship agreed upon by the Client and the Coach.
D. The Client understands that in order to enhance the coaching relationship, the Client agrees to communicate honestly, do the work and exercises, be open to feedback and assistance and to create the time and energy to participate fully in the program.
Personal information or business information supplied by clients in coaching sessions will be treated as confidential. It will not be disclosed to a third party without the client’s prior permission, save where required by law or where action might be necessary to prevent harm to the client or someone else.
The Client also acknowledges his or her continuing obligation to raise any confidentiality questions or concerns with the Coach in a timely manner.
3. FORMAT OF SERVICE
The parties agree to engage in the agreed period of the chosen Mentorship Package through online zoom meetings.
The coach will be available to the Client by email and Voxer between scheduled meetings as defined by the Coach.
The zoom calls will be 60 mins. You will get the supplementary documents and summary latest the day after the zoom call.
Fil will always get back to you and answer your questions within a timeframe of maximum 24 hours, except on Wednesday and Sunday, which are the times that he doesn’t work. He works Central European time. (CET)
In the morning Fil is not on social media. (Social Media is blocked on his desktop), so most often he’ll respond after noon or definitely between 6PM-8PM (which is when he stops working).
If you ask a question, use this format, if you can. That will give Fil the most effective way to respond with the best answer.
- Explain your current situation: ‘I am at x’.
- Explain your desired situation ‘I would like to y.’
- Ask your specific question: ‘How do I achieve z’
Fil is only available to respond within 24 hours in the given time frame when the question demands a short response.
If you have an elaborate question that requires an in-depth longer response, please send him an email ([email protected]) at least 36 hours before your next planned call.
That way Fil can prepare thoroughly to discuss it in your next call.

6. PREPARATION FOR EACH CALL
Fil has made a short client questionnaire to prepare for each call. This way he can get information beforehand about what you’ve been doing since the last call, what’s been going on in your life and business and what you would love to focus on.

7. MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE AND REFUNDS
Filip Van Houte offers a 7-day money back guarantee of the committed investment after the first coaching call.
If you are not pleased and you contact Fil ([email protected]) and inform him you’d like to terminate your Mentorship package between the start of your first coaching call and 7 days afterward, you get your invested money back, no questions asked. After that trial period, there won’t be a possibility for a refund.
Fil his 1-on-1 Mentorships are created and sold as whole packages and cannot be partially completed. It is not possible for the client to end a mentorship when it is in progress.
If you are enrolled in his mentorship package, unused sessions due to quitting the package are not eligible for refund.
8. IF MENTORSHIP TAKES LONGER THAN THE AGREED PERIOD
If ever you have remaining sessions left and for an unforeseen reason you are not able to finish all booked sessions in the required time of the mentorship period, you remaining sessions are valid to be used for a year after the date of the first call of the mentorship.
These will be loose sessions without the accountability and follow up on social media and Voxer. You will still get a summary email after each sessions and necessary documents.
After the extended period to use the sessions, the remaining sessions won’t be valid anymore.
9. FAILED PAYMENTS
If any instalment payment should default, the Client will maximum have 7 days to rectify the situation and bring the balance in order.
Any schedule mentorship sessions will be postponed until payment is received within the 7 days.
Please make sure you always make the payments so the trust is kept, Fil can focus on the mentorship and there is a smooth continuation of the coaching relationship and accountability on both sides.
10. RESCHEDULING CALLS, NOT SHOWING UP OR LATENESS
If you have to reschedule a scheduled call, you have to let Fil know or reschedule at least 36 hours in advance, else the planned session counts as a session whether you attend or not.
If you don’t show up on a planned call, that session is also counted and can’t be rescheduled. If you are late on a scheduled call, Fil will wait for 15 minutes, before the Client is noted as not turning up for the session.
11. PROGRAM CHANGES
Fil reserves the right to change, modify or cancel any mentorship packages as considered necessary. Any such change will be always be made in consultation with the Client.
12. TERMINATING MENTORSHIP
If ever during the mentorship Fil concludes that the mentorship is not working or achieving the desired results, he has the exclusive right to terminate the mentorship.
Fil will then look at the package that was ordered, the length of time you were coached, the remaining sessions and money already paid and decide fairly on the remaining balance that is owed to him or that he will reimburse.
13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND PLAGIARISM
All material relating to the Program is subject to copyright and other intellectual property rights. All materials may not be recorded, used, or reproduced without the written permission of Fil under copyright law.
You may not at any time copy, reproduce, publish in any form, share, sell, dispose of, or otherwise make available to a third party in any way any of the content or materials that Fil uses in the sessions.
14. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These terms and conditions and the contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Hungarian law and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hungarian courts. They have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute, disagreement, proceedings, or legal claim of any nature relating to the service provided or the contract.
If a dispute arises out of this agreement that cannot be resolved by mutual consent, it shall go to court and the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover attorney’s fees and court costs from the other party.
15. AGREEMENT SECTION
By entering into a Mentorship Agreement either and making a (first) payment to Fil, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions as set out above and the mentorship package you invested in.
